Enterprise RPA Platform (DCLI)
AI-enhanced UiPath automation platform processing intermodal logistics operations at enterprise scale, including legacy-to-cloud migrations.
Ongoing senior architect role at DCLI (Direct ChassisLink Inc.), one of North America’s largest intermodal chassis management companies. Designing and deploying AI-augmented automation across logistics operations.
Scope
Multiple concurrent automation initiatives spanning fleet management, billing, compliance reporting, and internal operations. Each bot is architected using UiPath’s REFramework (Robotic Enterprise Framework) for enterprise-grade error handling, retry logic, and Orchestrator queue management.
Key Work
- Designed AI-enhanced UiPath bots that integrate with Azure AI services for document processing and data extraction from semi-structured logistics forms.
- Migrated legacy on-premise applications to cloud-native Azure infrastructure, reducing per-instance maintenance overhead and enabling horizontal scaling.
- Architected Orchestrator queue systems to handle burst workloads without manual intervention.
- Led knowledge transfer: created comprehensive practice manuals and training materials standardizing RPA development practices across the team.
- Collaborated directly with department stakeholders to map manual workflows, identify automation opportunities, and validate ROI before build.
Architecture Pattern
Every bot follows a consistent pattern: Orchestrator queue input → REFramework dispatcher → performer bots → Orchestrator reporting → exception escalation path. This pattern allows bots to be monitored, retried, and reported on without custom instrumentation.
